Bahamas Liveaboards
Aqua Cat is a new 102-foot luxury catamaran cruising out of Nassau on
Saturday nights to the best dive spots in the Bahamas including Exumas,
Eleuthera and the Lost Blue Hole. There are eleven cabins onboard, all
with individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathrooms, mini
refrigerators, hair dryers and plenty of space. Four of the cabins have
two twins, and additional pull-down berths above. Four cabins feature a
king-size bed that can be configured to two twins. Two cabins have one
queen-size bed and one twin. The last cabin, equipped with two twins,
is the only one without a window but has a skylight.
The roomy lounge and dining area has a television with a DVD player, video editing area, and a photo light table. The alfresco deck just outside the dining room also features a television, and a barbecue area. The sundeck has a sun loungers, a bar with beer taps and a soft drink fountain. Your cruise price includes local microbrews, local rum and soft drinks. The spacious dive deck has a photo station, storage and a charging area. Entering the water is easy with two dive ladders, and you’ll enjoy the two fresh water showers after the dive. Aqua Cat offers Nitrox and a full range of dive courses.
The Caribbean Explorer II is a purpose-built diving vessel with plenty of
comfort and space. The upper deck features a large sunning
area with comfortable lounge chairs and chairs and an air-conditioned salon
with entertainment center, seating areas and wet bar. Maximum of eighteen divers are accommodated in nine
cabins which all have private bathrooms and air-conditioning. Main deck cabins have either a queen-size bed
and an upper twin or upper and lower twin beds. Lower deck cabins feature two
cabins two twin beds that can be made to a queen-size bed, two cabins with a
double lower bed an upper twin and one cabin with a double bed. Main deck
cabins have windows and lower deck queen cabins have portholes.
The dive deck is equipped with individual gear lockers, large camera table with low pressure air hose, recharging stations, air filling station, tank racks and separate freshwater rinse baths for dive equipment and cameras. Also located on the dive deck are a wetsuit hanging area, two freshwater showers and a bathroom. Two in-water ladders hang for easy access to and from the water. All diving is done from the dive platform. The boat offers Nitrox and has a 16-foot tender onboard.
Dolphin Dream is a very stable and comfortable boat which was refurbished fully in 2005. It has five spacious cabins with full-size upper and lower bunks and one large cabin with a double bed, maximum number divers onboard is twelve.
All cabins share three bathrooms and a separate outdoor shower. The big salon has plenty of seating areas, picture windows and entertainment system. Other common areas include decks with both covered and open space, a dive platform with a ladder entry and dive gear storage area.
