Etosha National Park is the size of Switzerland and Namibia’s premier wildlife destination. The immense salt pan which dominates the park is mostly dry, but when it fills with water in the summer it also fills with birdlife, particularly with pelicans and flamingoes. Etosha’s perennial springs attract and support a variety of wildlife.

Kunene is one of the thirteen regions of Namibia and includes areas such as the Skeleton Coast. This area is one the most isolated of the country and home to the last true nomads of Africa, the Himba.

Caprivi is a narrow strip of Namibia bordered by Botswana and Zambia. Close to Chobe National Park and on the banks of the Kwando River, this area is more about water than the desert.
