Philippine Siren
Philippine Siren is a brand-new 132-foot long sailing yacht purpose-built for diving with comfort in mind. The vessel boasts large flexible cabins, spacious dining room and dive deck, and an expansive leisure deck with both covered and uncovered areas for relaxing. Newly crafted from ironwood and teak, and equipped with seven sails, this gorgeous yacht brings back the romance of the seas without sacrificing any of the modern comforts.
Onboard you will find eight air-conditioned cabins for a maximum of
sixteen guests. All cabins have private bathrooms, personal computers,
entertainment systems and little luxuries such as bathrobes, hair
dryers and mood lighting.Common areas include a large cocktail bar with a 42-inch flat screen television, massage spa, laundry service, and a boutique. The dive deck is equipped with designated charging and preparation areas for camera and video equipment. Also onboard are two zodiacs and kayaks. Nitrox is free for all certified Nitrox divers. Philippine Siren's 10-night itineraries move with the seasons and include South Visayas from Macatan to Apo Island, the Southern Leyte around Bohol, and Borocay via Apo Reef to the wrecks of Coron. The shorter 7-night Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park itineraries run from March to June.
Explore the islands onboard the luxury liveaboard Siren which was custom-built to suit the most discerning diver. There eight large individually air-conditioned cabins with entertainment systems and ensuite bathrooms. Bath robes, hair dryers and mood lighting add additional touches of comfort. Massage spa, laundry, boutique, plenty of deck space, spacious saloon with large flatscreen and bar, covered outdoor dining area, and superiorly functioning dive deck are all part of the experience. Onboard you will also find waterskis, waterboards, kayaks and fishing tackle.
The Siren was fitted with special features for the underwater photographer and videographer. Each cabin has an individual computer with a high-definition flatscreen and multiple power sources and there are dedicated workstations for cameras. The Siren offers free Nitrox.
Mandarin Siren
The 79-foot Mandarin Siren will start diving Indonesia’s Raja Ampat and Sulawesi in June 2010. This luxurious sailing yacht is the latest addition to the Siren fleet and has only four cabins for a maximum of eight guests. All cabins have private bathrooms, and can be configured with either a double bed or two twin beds. Creature comforts and special extras in all cabins include individually controlled air-conditioning, personal computers, entertainment systems, bathrobes, hair dryers and mood lighting.
A spacious dining area serves delicious meals, and the relaxing salon is the place to have a drink from the bar and watch a movie on the large-screen television. The leisure deck area has both covered and sunny areas and plenty of comfortable seating, and there is even an outdoor dining area for al-fresco dinners. The whole vessel is designed to offer you plenty of space and comfort – this is also evident on the dive deck which was modeled after the larger sister ships. There’s ample room to set up your equipment, large rinse tanks and dedicated camera areas. The two dive zodiacs are easily accessed from the dive platform. The Mandarin Siren offers Nitrox, kayaks, a massage service and an onboard boutique.
