Buddy Dive Resort is an unspoiled natural paradise with spectacular sunsets, gentle breezes and a fantastic house reef. You don’t have to be a diver to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere but if you are, it’s all here: PADI 5-star dive operation with comfortable boats, complete rental gear selection, exceptional staff and a unique “dive through” a two-lane air and Nitrox fill station. Other activities at Buddy’s include snorkeling in the house reef or by guided snorkeling in the mangroves or the many caves in the island. Try the world-famous windsurfing with an introductory class, kayaking by yourself or on a guided tour, mountain biking over the hill tops, or sport fishing. For kids 5 – 14 years of age, Buddy Rangers Club teaches underwater skills and marine ecology.
At Buddy Dive Resort you can stay in a hotel room or choose a studio, one-, two- or three-bedroom apartment – there are a total of 78 rooms and apartments in the large complex. The air-conditioned hotel rooms are equipped with cable television, mini refrigerators and telephones. All apartments have cable television, safes, large patios or balconies, air-conditioned bedrooms, and full kitchens with a refrigerator, microwave and range. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Enjoy three the three swimming pools, gazebos with hammocks, two restaurants and a seaside bar, activity desk and car rental service. And don’t pack anything too fancy – Buddy’s is an easy-going resort where you can show up in shorts for dinner!
Caribbean Club Bonaire is an intimate 33-room resort with a variety of affordable accommodations to choose from. Just a steps away from the most pristine dive sites it is a great location for divers and nature lovers. In the center of the resort you will find two raised freshwater swimming pools surrounded by sun decks. The restaurant and bar overlook the pool area – enjoy international delicacies with a Caribbean flair. The PADI dive shop has a full range of courses and rental gear, and the activity center can arrange mangrove trips, sea kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, caving and cave snorkeling, national park trips, island tours and bird watching. The resort offers wireless internet.
Choose from gardenview studios and one-bedroom or two-bedroom cottages, oceanview penthouses or two-bedroom cottages or the beautiful honeymoon suite with its own jacuzzi and great views. All have air-conditioned bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens (upgraded in two-bedroom cottages), cable televisions, safes, and fans in the living rooms and porches. Belmar Apartments is an upscale oceanfront resort with 22 well-equipped condominiums. Personal service, gorgeous seaviews from each apartment and a dive shop rounds up your deluxe Bonaire experience. All apartments are located just twenty feet from the water with an easy access to swimming, snorkeling and diving the house reef. Two private dive docks, a large freshwater swimming pool and plenty of room to enjoy gentle sea breezes bring you outdoors to enjoy. The full-service PADI dive facility offers a range of dive courses and top-notch rental gear.
Four apartments have one bedroom and one bath, twelve have two bedrooms and two baths, and six have feature bedrooms with two bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchens have a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and other amenities making it easy to prepare meals if you prefer not to go to a restaurant. The resort does not have its own restaurant but there’s one across the street. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and each apartment has a safe, cable television, wireless internet access and a large furnished patio or terrace facing the ocean. Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino is a blend of Caribbean colors, unpretentious fun and long list of services. Bonaire might be a sleepy little island, but at Divi you have a wealth of activities to enjoy and keep you as busy as you want. Divi Dive Bonaire is a full-service PADI 5-star dive shop with five custom boats and offers courses, rental gear, and 24-hour shore diving at the resort’s house reef. Divi has 129 rooms in three different categories, all air-conditioned. Standard rooms have tropical garden views and are located on the first floor or in casual villa setting. Deluxe rooms have private balconies with direct oceanviews. Studio units are located in Divi’s gingerbread-style complex with pool views. Standard rooms are equipped with one or two double beds, refrigerator, television and safe. Deluxe rooms are equipped the same but all have two double beds. Studios, suitable for families, have two double beds, a queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchens and spacious screened porches.
